Puerto Rico Nutrition Assistance Program (PAN)

What is the benefit?
This program helps low-income individuals and families buy the food they need for good health. You get a special debit card that can be used like an ATM card at most grocery stores. The amount you get depends on your income and family size.

Am I eligible?
You may be eligible for this program if you have limited income and resources (certain exclusions apply). Citizens and certain legal immigrants who meet the eligibility guidelines, may be eligible for this program. Eligible non-citizens may include: immigrants who have legally lived in the United States or its territories for at least 5 years or more; immigrants currently receiving disability-related assistance or benefits, regardless of entry date; or any immigrant child, regardless of entry date. How do I apply?
To apply for this benefit, please visit your local Social Services Office, or call the Central Offices of the Administration for the Socio-Economic Development of the Family (ADSEF) at (787) 289-7600.
